Fabrika began in Komiža with a simple idea and a lot of heart — let's cook, and let's make it our own. Much of the space was decorated and even built by hand: an adventure powered by passion, love and dedication, and recognised by the people who keep coming back. Today Fabrika is a colourful world of food, sea and island life on the island of Vis — a Dalmatian bistro, a Neapolitan pizzeria, a concept store and a luxury boat, all gathered around one harbour.

From the furniture to the details on the walls, Fabrika was shaped by the people behind it — a place put together with care rather than a template, which is exactly what gives it its colour.
Behind Fabrika
Fabrika is the brainchild of Luka Nižetić — singer, winner of Celebrity MasterChef Croatia (2014), and the heart behind the kitchen. “The idea of Fabrika came straight from the heart,” he says, “out of the simple wish to cook — and none of it would exist without the passion, love and dedication we put into it.”
